CANADIAN CORN

Manitoba is the third largest corn producing province in Canada (right behind Quebec and Ontario), with only the southernmost quarter being a suitable climate for corn production. This year some growers were fortunate enough to add some Green Lightning to their program. A 20-gallon foliar application was done at tasseling. This cost them less than $0.44 in electricity produce, yes, forty-four cents to add 20 gallons of product, figuring that it’s about $0.11 an hour to run their machine, which makes 6.25 gallons an hour.
